CBC launches election site

Love, like or hate the CBC they do put together good election sites. You can find their site on the 2006 NB election here.

Yeah that hurts anon but you know something nbpolitico is right. On the web the CBC is miles ahead of CTV and Global. Radio and TV of course is a different matter.

It's not that great, its basically just all of their features on the government gathered in in one place and some stats from elections NB. I was hoping for a little more. Plus, of course, unlike blogging places it is up to the CBC who gets to comment. And there is very little information from the people involved.

Please keep in mind that there are more than one anon here. I am 6:07 PM. Spinks, it looks good. I will check the CBC site.

Spinks, you are a very smart man. Very shrewed move to praise CBC and get your website advertised right on Poitras' site. What a better way to advertise than that. Go man go.

I think the CBC got the better deal by being promoted on my site. LOL.

Seriously though, I mean every word of my praise for this particular move by CBC. They in fact checked out what I wrote at Spink About It and still posted my comment despite what could be argued as tepid praise. I'm impressed with this move. Like I said my biggest concern with the CBC blog is that it will be hijacked by campaign workers much like the letters to the editor will. I plan when I can and it's obvious to call those writers on it and encourage them to come clean on what they're doing. Not-mike (anon) will say I'm dreaming and he's right but it is still worth the effort.
